Do I have to register?
Yes. The first step in the process is to submit an individual registration to express interest. Registration of each regular rank faculty member counts towards a token worth $5000/each when your final full team is registered for a planning grant (up to $25,000).
Is there a deadline for registration?
Yes, April 2022. Earlier team formation enables more planning time as the planning grant funds will be released to teams as soon as they are registered.
Can Duke-Kunshan and Duke-NUS register for the planning grant and receive a token?
Yes, regular-rank faculty at Duke-Kunshan and Duke-NUS are eligible co-PIs for planning grants and can register for a token.
Once a team registers how will the planning grant funds be released?
As soon as a team registers, the PI and team members will receive an email acknowledging that their team is registered, and a contact name and email address for the PI’s grant manager will be requested. The grant manager will become the contact for setting up a fund code for the disbursement of planning grant funds.
Can a registered individual be on more than one team?
Yes, you can serve on more than one team, but you can only redeem your token for one team during the planning grant phase.
