We found a worsening cluster of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in Eastern North Carolina.  Our team hypothesizes that this may be due to a toxin secreted by cyanobacteria blooms, which are becoming more common due to climate change.

I am a world expert in ALS; I am assembling a team with expertise in epidemiology, toxicology and climate science.
